D.Altansukh becomes world champion

Ulaanbaatar/MONTSAME/. Mongolian sambo wrestler D.Altansukh won a gold medal in the
68kg event during the World Sambo Championships in Cheongju, the Republic of
Korea, held on November 8-10. It made him 38th world champion of
Mongolia.
D.Altansukh defeated
his opponents from Salvador, the UK, Ukraine, Russia and Georgia consecutively.
On the first day of
the championships, Mongolian female wrestlers did not win any medals, but male
sambo wrestlers N.Togtokhbayar (57kg), N.Otgonbaatar (74kg) and T.Ariunbold (100kg)
won bronze medals respectively.
