Parliament ratifies agreement to establish Asian Forest Cooperation Organization

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. On November 21, Parliament adopted a bill ratifying the agreement on the establishment of Asian Forest Cooperation Organization (AFoCO).
Mongolia signed the agreement on August 21, 2017. The government of Mongolia views that ratifying the agreement, Mongolia will enjoy benefits of full membership of the organization, becoming involved in its projects and programs and training its specialists at international level. For instance, annual wildlife training at the organization’s Regional Education and Training Center and doctoral programs of South Korean universities will become available to Mongolians.
