Books about Mongolia’s foreign relations history launched
PoliticsUlaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. On November 21, launch event for books by seasoned Mongolian diplomats was organized by the Diplomatic Academy of Mongolia and Ambassadors’ Club at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
‘The Dynamic Decade: Mongolia’s Sovereignty and Foreign Policy between East and West, 1990-2000’ by Dr. Ts.Batbayar, Counsellor of the Department of Asia and the Pacific of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Mongolia and another book by Ambassador P.Urjinlkhundev on Mongolia’s relationship with North Korea were launched.
In his book of analysis on the foreign relations of Mongolia during the period between 1990 and 2000, its foreign policy documents ensuring the independent and multilateral foreign policy, Dr. Ts.Batbayar tells about historic dimension of Mongolia’s relations with its neighboring countries, China and Russia and third neighbor countries of the Northeast Asia and Central Asia on the background of the history of the XX century.
Ambassador P.Urjinlkhundev narrates a diplomatic history of Mongolia and the country’s close partner and neighbor, Democratic People's Republic of Korea, as himself a witness to history between the two nations’ partnership.
