Representatives of Dornogobi aimag work in Shizuoka prefecture

Dornogobi /MONTSAME/ Member of Partliament B.Delgersaikhan, Governor of Dornogobi aimag T.Enkhtuvshin and other 15 officials paid a visit to the Shizuoka prefecture of Japan between November 25-28.

The delegates of Dornogobi aimag met with Governor of Shizuoka, Kawakatsu Heita. They exchanged views on the friendly relations between the two sides, expressing pleasure with the achievements made, and agreed to deepen bilateral cooperation in sports, culture, road transport, and urban landscaping.

The Mongolian delegation also met with officials of the external relations division of the prefecture’s governor’s office and agreed to collaborate in increasing the number of 30 students involved in student exchange programs every year to 40, exchanging journalists, extending the term of energy sector specialist training course, conducting long-term training course in engineering, and organizing training for judokas, volleyball players and rugby players.


The sides also plans to intensify cooperation between medical schools of Dornogobi and Shizuoka, upskill and train the teachers and students, exchange experience between railway authorities, and jointly celebrate the 10th anniversary of partnership between the two sides which falls in 2021.


The representatives then visited the fire department and relief organization of Hamamatsu city and the prefecture’s authorities pledged to distribute two fully-equipped fire trucks to Dornogobi aimag.
