National Basketball team departs for China

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. Mongolian national basketball team departed for China today, on December 6 to compete in B-One League, International Basketball Invitational Tournament which will take place in Anning, China.


The league will cover the national teams of Thailand, India, Japan, China, South Korea, Philippine and Mongolia. Mongolian national basketball team roster includes the players namely, O.Enkhbaatar, T.Sanchir, E.Dorj-Arild, Ts.Otgonjargal, S.Erdenedalai, B.Darkhantugs, B.Batzolboo, A.Gansukh, O.Dorjzovd, M.Ulzii-Orshikh, Kh.Munkhtur and Marcus Hammonds.

Marcus Hammonds joined the national team as the tournament allows the teams to have up to 1 legioner in the team. The Mongolian team is taking part in the tournament under the supervision of the coaches Sh.Azjargal and A.Altan-Ochir.


This is the first tournament for Mongolian national team since the 18th Asian Championships which took place in Jakarta, Indonesia in 2018.
