Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. WBC Featherweight Champion Gary “Mr.” Russell Jr. will defend his title against the challenger Tugstsogt “King Tug” Nyambayar, IBO Champion, on Saturday, February 8 at PPL Center in the city of Allentown, Pennsylvania, the U.S.

The final press conference of the fight took place yesterday, February 7 at PPL Center where the fighters to square off.

N.Tugstsogt: “I will defeat Gary Russell Jr. The past experience will not matter. If he thinks I am too inexperienced for this fight, he is going to be in for a surprise Saturday night. You will experience a great fight. I have worked so hard in the ring during the training camp to make sure I am the best I have ever been. He is a great champion but watch on Saturday night, when I become the first Mongolian to become the featherweight world champion.

Gary Russell: “King Tug will be the best he possibly can be. Because he knows he is facing one of the best fighters in the world. He has everything to gain, but nothing to lose. He is going to leave it all on the line. I will give you a little history lesson. The Mongols are known as the warriors throughout the history. They have defeated numerous people and nations. But it lasted only until they ran into my ancestors. The Mongols went to Egypt in 1260 and my ancestors dethroned Genghis Khan /It was Khulegu who invaded Egypt, the grandson of Genghis Khan/. My ancestors halted Mongol Empire’s conquest in western civilization. This will definitely be repeated on Saturday night.

Khulegu was one of the leaders of Mongol Empire who conquered most part of Southwest Asia. He was the son of Tolui Khan, grandson of Genghis Khan and sibling of Ariq Boke, Khublai Khan and Mongke Khan. His army, under his command, established Persian Ilkhanate and stretched Mongol Empire’s territory in western part.

Gary Russell, born in Washington D.C, is of Egyptian descent and his name spread around the world quickly after he started his career by fighting 6-7 times a year. On the other hand, Tugstsogt “King Tug” Nyambayar is younger, moreover, his physique and technique is better than Gary Russell per boxing analysts.

The fight, the boxing fans all over the world are looking forward to, will take place at 9pm (ET) 10am (GMT+8).
