Mongolia to receive 2,000 more Covid-19 test kits

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The Cabinet decided to reserve more medicines and medical tools to ensure the preparedness of health care facilities and improve the quality and accessibility of health care services for vulnerable groups, highlighted Minister of Health D.Sarangerel during a press briefing held on February 26 after the State Emergency Commission’s meeting. 

 

“Three days after the State Emergency Commission held a meeting on January 24 to discuss coronavirus preventive measures, Japan supplied Mongolia with the very first batch of coronavirus test kits. So far, a total of 3,300 test kits have been provided for Mongolia. Health Ministry is working to receive 2,000 more kits on February 27,” the Health Minister added.
