21 Mongolian judokas to compete in Ekaterinburg Grand Slam

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. Ekaterinburg Grand Slam-2020 will take place in Ekaterinburg, Russia on March 13-15. 613 judokas (362 male and 251 female) will compete in the tournament to collect points for the upcoming Olympics and 11 male and 10 female athletes of Mongolian National Judo Team are currently preparing to compete in this tournament.


The men’s team consists of 9 athletes namely, L.Unubold and D.Amartuvshin in 60 kg, G.Kherlen and Yo.Baskhuu in 66 kg, G.Odbayar and Ts.Tsogtbaatar in 73 kg, Saeid Mollaei and N.Dagvasuren in 81 kg, G.Altanbagana in 90 kg, L.Otgonbaatar in -100 kg and O.Tsetsentsengel in +100 kg.


As for the female athletes, the team will consist of M.Urantsetseg and G.Narantsetseg in 48 kg, B.Khorloodoi and L.Sosorbaram in 52 kg, L.Enkhriilen in 57 kg, B.Gankhaich in 63 kg, Ts.Naranjargal and M.Davaasuren in 70 kg, O.Munkhtsetseg in -78 kg and Gandiimaa in +78 kg.


To prevent from coronavirus, the Judo Grand Prix in Rabat, Morocco scheduled from March 6-8 was cancelled upon decision of the Moroccan Government.
