Donation of Jack Ma Foundation and Alibaba Foundation arrives in Mongolia

Ulaanbaatar/MONTSAME/. A handover ceremony of a donation of
500 thousand N95 masks by the Jack Ma Foundation and Alibaba Foundation was
held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on March 31.
Present at the ceremony were the State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs D.Davaasuren, State Secretary of the Ministry of Health Ya.Amarjargal, First Deputy Chief of the National Emergency Management Agency G.Ariunbuyan and staff of the Chinese Embassy headed by Ambassador Chai Wenrui.
In the handover ceremony, State Secretary of the Ministry of
Foreign Affairs D.Davaasuren said, “We are pleased with China’s active participation
in the international fight against Covid-19, contributing manpower, material
and emotional supports”. He also emphasized that Chinese aid is improving the medical
supplies in need and plays a vital role in combat against this infection.
Chinese Ambassador Chai Wenrui said, “We will never forget
all-round support that the government, organizations and people of Mongolia
have rendered us during a hard time in China. As a contribution to Mongolia’s actions
in response to Covid-19, China’s Alibaba Foundation is delivering this
donation. There will be such donations further.”
