‘Erdenes Mongol’ LLC to partner with Natural Resource Governance Institute

/MONTSAME/ On April 7, ‘Erdenes Mongol’ LLC and Natural Resource Governance
Institute (NRGI) established a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on company
capacity and governance development.
Within the framework of the MoU, the NRGI will give technical advice in a way of making independent external analysis on projects and programs being carried out at the level of ‘Erdenes Mongol’ Group and issues related to attract investment. Furthermore, the sides will collaborate in providing necessary training, researches and information to improve human resource capacity of ‘Erdenes Mongol’ Group.
During the signing ceremony, Executive Director of ‘Erdenes Mongol’ LLC P.Gankhuu said “The NRGI issued a report named ‘Wild growth’ on our company’s governance and financial and operational performance in 2019. We paid attention on some matters reflected in the report and made specific conclusion on recommendations made on legal environment, upgrading transparency, dividends and relations between our subsidiary companies and joint ventures. With establishment of the MoU, more opportunities are being opened up to the sides to cooperate in numerous directions."
Moreover, Mr. P.Gankhuu noted he is hopeful that the collaboration would become a big impetus to introduce new ways of environmental protection, labor safety as well as empowerment of human resource and introduction of best practices on resource governance.
The Natural Resource Governance Institute conducts governance
researches on transparent, effective and accountable management of resource
wealth for the public interest and is an international, independent and non-governmental organization that headquarters in the USA.
