Bayankhoshuu substation to commission in May

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ A pumping station to provide Bayankhoshuu sub center with centralized heat has become ready to commission in upcoming May. Yesterday, on April 7, Governor of the Capital City S.Amarsaikhan checked progress of the station on the spot.
With commissioning of the station, located in the 6th khoroo of Songinokhairkhan district, 11 thousand households will be able to be connected to central heating grid and have easy access to hot and cold water. The station has capacity to lift up 1.100 cubic meter of water at height of 60 meter.
The pumping station has been built with partnership of Janghan engineers, KFDHEC and Odcon Holdong companies with joint financing of the Asian Development Bank and the capital city within ‘Ger Areas Development Investment Program’.
“Since the station is situated in distance of 3.2 km from Bayankhoshuu sub center, the sub center is being connected to the central heating grid. The conditions to build apartments and connect households in ger area with central heating grid have been created and it is ready for use,” said B.Zolbayar, heating engineer of ‘Odcon Holding’ Company.
In frames of the project ‘Ger Areas Development Investment Program’, largest construction works have being carried out including 9.97 km heat transmission line, world standard heating station with capacity of 26.6 mWt, 6.7 km auto road, 2.4 km flood protection dam, 3.01 hectares of green area, 6.01 km water supply line, establishment of business incubator and vocational training center and 240-bed kindergarten.
