Police Service Development Program approved

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ At its regular meeting on April 22,
the Cabinet passed the 2020-2024 Police Service Development Program as the
previous five-year phase of the program has been completed and added it to the
list of national programs.
Numerous fruitful projects and activities have been carried
out under the program so far. Thanks to the program, crime
detection rate has increased following the introduction of an integrated crime
control system and implementation of the tele-camera sub-program, a campaign was
conducted to digitize police services, and a sub-program was carried out to
improve the health and well-being of police officers and provide housing for
them.
MNT 118.2 billion will be spent on the implementation of the program’s 2020-2024 phase that has five key goals.
