Energy Minister meets Chinese Ambassador

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ At his recent meeting with
Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China to Mongolia Chai Wenrui, Minister
of Energy Ts.Davaasuren congratulated the Ambassador on his appointment.
With bilateral cooperation and friendship between their peoples continuously strengthening, Mongolia and China have been closely working together and jointly carrying out numerous energy projects and programs in the energy sector.
Noting that the bilateral energy cooperation has been developing more rapidly over the last decade, Minister Ts.Davaasuren voiced his willingness to establish intergovernmental agreements between the two countries and work together on energy export projects, Northeast Asia renewable energy projects, and pipeline construction projects.
The sides agreed to speed up the projects that are showing slow progress due to Covid-19 with joint efforts.
