‘I am the Sun’ wins award at int’l film festival of Romania

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ ‘I am the Sun’ by J.Sengedorj
received the judges’ choice award at this year's Wonderfest film festival of Romania. 'Young
Detectives' by director S.Bujin also successfully represented Mongolia at
the festival.
The film tells three stories about family relationships
taking place in the Mongolian society since the 1990s, how much the technological
advancements, especially the use of internet and video games, affect the lives
of children, and the value of human relationships.
‘I am the Sun’ was also nominated for the best children’s
movie at the 24th Schlingel International Film Festival for Children and Young
Audience in Germany last year.
