Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The Mongolian National Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MNCCI) signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Save the Children in Mongolia to support the child-rights organization’s project ‘Entrepreneurship-Focused Socioemotional Skills for Vulnerable Youth in Rural Mongolia’.

The 4-year project launched in 2019 aims to provide 6,000 vulnerable youth aged between 14 and 25 in 25 soums across Khovd, Zavkhan, Uvurkhangai, Govi-Sumber and Sukhbaatar aimags with entrepreneurship-focused socio-emotional skills and the opportunity to start their businesses to help them successfully enter the labor market. Also, as part of the project, a small grant mechanism will be introduced to enable target youth to practice their entrepreneurship knowledge in life and realize mini-projects.

Under the project, MNCCi will introduce the youth to local companies, help their businesses with consulting, and provide guidelines for the project implementing units.

During the signing event, MNCCI President O.Amartuvshin said the chamber has plans to open its branches in 330 soums starting from this year and will support the project through the branches.
