Two new COVID-19 cases confirmed

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. Director of the National Center for Communicable Diseases (NCCD) D.Nyamkhuu informed, at today’s regular press briefing of the Ministry of Health, that two people have been tested positive for COVID-19 when 370 tests carried out yesterday, July 8.


More specifically, two female Mongolian nationals aged 20 and 22, arrived from Russia through Altanbulag border checkpoint have been diagnosed with the virus.


Moreover, one more person makes recovery from COVID-19 after 50 days of treatment.


The total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in the country has reached 227, with 195 recoveries. Currently, there are 33 people are undergoing treatment at the NCCD, of whom 32 are in mild and 1 is in serious health condition.
