Prime Minister meets Ambassador of India
PoliticsUlaanbaatar/MONTSAME/. On September 22, Prime Minister U.
Khurelsukh received Ambassador of the Republic of India to Mongolia Mohinder
Pratap Singh.
Ambassador M.P. Singh conveyed the greetings of Prime
Minister of India N.Modi to the Prime Minister of Mongolia and thanked for his
special attention and support in expanding and strengthening the Strategic
Partnership between Mongolia and India.
Prime Minister U.Khurelsukh reaffirmed his commitment to intensify cooperation further, maintain the frequency of high-level visits, and expand bilateral relations in all fields.
They concurred to intensify the implementation of the oil
refinery project to be done with a soft loan from the Government of India. The
two sides also discussed collaboration in the pilot transportation of some
goods for export to India. Besides, they discussed the present state of
bilateral cooperation in culture, education, agriculture and health sectors. Prime
Minister U.Khurelsukh expressed his support for intensifying implementation
of some projects.
The Ambassador said he gives high significance to celebration of the 65th anniversary of the diplomatic relations between Mongolia and India,
which falls this year.
Prime Minister U.Khurelsukh said that Mongolian government
attaches great importance to protecting interest of the people and overcoming
COVID-19 pandemic, and expressed appreciation for their support in repatriating
Mongolians stranded in India.
