Mongolia wins first gold medal at International Olympiad in Informatics
SocietyUlaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The 32nd International Olympiad in Informatics was held online from September 13 to 19 in Singapore.
Out of
four Mongolian students who represented the country from “Sant” and “Erkhet Erdem”
schools, student of Sant school A.Nyamdavaa won the first gold medal of
Mongolia at the Olympia. Prior
to it, A.Nyamdavaa claimed the first silver medal of the country as well at the
31st Olympiad took place in Baku, Azerbaijan in 2019.
Mongolian
students have been attending the International Olympiad in Informatics since
1991 and won three bronze and one silver medals.
