Agriculture minister works in Dornod and Sukhbaatar aimags

Ulaanbaatar/MONTSAME/. Minister of Food, Agriculture and Light Industry Z.Mendsaikhan is on a working trip to rural areas to see the progress of winter preparations. In Dornod and Sukhbaatar aimags, the Minister visited the aimags’ veterinary departments and food and agriculture departments, holding meetings with the staff to discuss the pressing issues they face
.
The Minister also visited the ‘Bayan Tal’ agricultural complex to get acquainted with the meat processing plant, where the Minister emphasized, “The government pays attention to increasing the value of livestock raw materials, making it value-added and increasing the export. To do it, it needs to bring animal hygiene and quality standards in line with international standards.”
