Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ 69th Yokozuna Hakuho M.Davaajargal will promote Mongolia through the display of a full carved Mongolian ger (traditional dwelling) with 8 walls on the threshold of Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games.

The 8-wall ger of outstanding design is currently on display outside the Mongolian National Olympic Committee and will soon be transported to Japan to be set up at Tokyo Tower as part of the works planned in preparation for the opening of the Tokyo Olympics.

Burte Chono and Goo Maral, early ancestors of founder of the Mongol Empire Chinggis Khaan, are skillfully carved on the top part of the ger’s bagana (pillars), while Chinggis Khaan’s urlug (ministers) are carved on the toono (crown) with high-ranking minister Shikhikhutag portrayed with Ikh Zasag Law in his hand at the center. Also, nine great symbols of state are carved along the edge of the crown with nine jewels.
