Prime Minister U.Khurelsukh receives national basketball teams

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Prime Minister U.Khurelsukh yesterday received national 3х3 women’s basketball team, men’s team who won the World Skills Challenge tournament, the coaches and authorities of the basketball federation and wished success to them.


Mongolian 3х3 women’s basketball team qualified for the Tokyo-2020 Olympic Games on November 1, 2019 and are training for the olympics. While, 5x5 men’s basketball team won the first place at FIBA U17 Skills Challenge tournament that was held virtually last August, becoming Mongolia’s first-ever world champion in the history of team sport.
