Mongolian delegates attend virtual session of SIAP Governing Council

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Mongolia's National Statistics Office (NSO) is a member of the Governing Council of the Statistical Institute for Asia and the Pacific (SIAP) for 2019-2022.
The 16th session of the Governing Council of the SIAP was held virtually between November 30 and December 1. In the virtual session, Mongolia was represented by NSO Acting Chairperson Ch. Bayanchimeg and senior officer of Foreign Relations and Cooperation Department G.Otgonbayar and officer D.Batchuluun.
During the virtual session, the parties reviewed the RIAP's 2020 report and discussed the work programme and financial plan of the institute for 2021 and resource mobilization strategy of the institute.
As a member of the Governing Council of the SIAP, Mongolia's representatives expressed NSO's proposal and position on the agenda.
