“Oardacity” team to compete in Talisker Whiskey Atlantic Challenge to help vulnerable children in MongoliaSports
Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ On December 12, British citizens Harry Hearn, Alex Soskin, Ed Batchlor and Tom Phillips will challenge their endurance, spirit and friendship in rowing race of 3000 mile or 4838 km in Talisker Whiskey Atlantic Challenge, which is organized in the Atlantic Ocean, one of the most dangerous ocean waters in the world.
More than 20 teams will compete in the world's toughest rowing race and “Oardacity” team from UK is participating in the race to raise donation for their chosen charities – MIND (Mental Health Charity) and Christina Nobel Children’s Foundation (CNCF) NGO – to help children of target groups in Mongolia.
The raised fund will be dedicated to programs targeted to vulnerable children in Mongolia run by the CNCF NGO, especially, projects to promote education and eliminate violence. Members of “Oardacity” team aims to raise GBP 200,000 and they have collected GBP 71,066 so far.
Established in 1991, the Christina Nobel Children’s Foundation is dedicated to serving the physical, medical, educational and emotional needs of vulnerable children.
