Foreign Minister meets virtually with heads of Mongolian diplomatic missions abroad

N.Enkhtaivan held an online meeting with the heads of 46 Mongolian diplomatic
missions abroad.
At the meeting, Foreign Minister N.Enkhtaivan briefed on the
works done in foreign relations in 2020, reviewed the implementation of foreign
policy, and gave detailed information about the sector's goals in 2021.
Minister N.Enkhtaivan assigned the heads of Mongolian diplomatic
missions to work actively on the implementation of the ‘Vision-2050’ long-term
development policy, the objectives stated in the Government Action Plan
2020-2024 in the field of foreign relations, and the activities included in the
Strategic Plan of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs 2020-2024. He also instructed
them to study and introduce the international best practices for combating the
pandemic, overcoming the difficulties amid the COVID-19, vaccinating the
people, reviving the economy, and running foreign trade normally.
During the online meeting, they exchanged views on the
activities to be organized this year by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on the
occasion of the 110th anniversary of the Restoration of National Freedom and
Independence, the 100th anniversary of the People's Revolution, the 110th
anniversary of the modern Diplomatic Service and the 60th anniversary of
Mongolia's membership in the United Nations.
