32 new COVID-19 cases reported

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. At the regular press briefing of the Ministry of Health today on March 3, it was reported that 32 new cases were detected in Mongolia after conducting 17,592 tests nationwide within the past 24 hours.


23 cases of them were close contacts of the previously confirmed cases, eight were contacts of the infected who detected from the capital city-wide surveillance 'One door-One test' and source of one case is being investigated. No new infections were reported in other aimags.


As of today, the total number of COVID-19 confirmed cases in Mongolia now reached 3,032, and 2,360 or 78 percent of total patients are recovered. Out of the country’s total confirmed cases, 2,513 have been registered in Ulaanbaatar city.


Currently, there are 657 patients are receiving treatments and 591 of them are in mild, 57 in serious, seven in critical and two are in very critical health condition.
