L.Odgerel to officiate at Olympic weightlifting

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ L.Odgerel has been chosen to officiate at the postponed Tokyo 2020 Olympics, becoming the first female Mongolian referee to officiate at Olympic weightlifting event.
L.Odgerel won the country’s first silver medal at continental championships or at 2013 Qinhuangdao Asian Championships among female weightlifters and qualified for international referee in 2012.
She was invited to World Championships as an referee for seven times aside from officiating at 2013 East
Asian Games in Tianjin, Summer Universiade Taipei 2017, 2018 Asian Games in
Jakarta and Buenos Aires 2018 Youth Olympic Games.
The weightlifting at 2020 Summer Olympics is scheduled to be held between July 24 and August 4 at the Tokyo International Forum.
