Minister for Foreign Affairs meets with FAO Representative

Ulaanbaatar/MONTSAME/. On April 1, H.E. Ms. B.Battsetseg, Minister for Foreign Affairs received Mr. Vinod Ahuja, Representative of the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) of the United Nations, at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Foreign Minister B.Battsetseg expressed her gratitude to
the FAO for its support and assistance in the development of Mongolia’s food
and agriculture sector since its membership. She also reaffirmed the MFA’s full
support and cooperation with the FAO office in Mongolia.
During the meeting, both sides exchanged views on the
measures to be undertaken in enhancing Mongolia’s export diversification by
supporting the production of livestock products and increasing the export of
value-added products that meet international standards and developing future
cooperation between Mongolia and the FAO.
