Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Authorities of the National Geological Service of Mongolia and the Polish Geological Institute had their first meeting virtually on April 15. Undersecretary of State of the Polish Ministry of Climate and Environment, Chief National Geologist Piotr Dziadzio and Ambassadors of the two countries took part in the meeting.

The sides agreed to address some issues that have been under discussions for many years including the cooperation document between the geological services of the two countries and discussed cooperation opportunities.

Polish geologists and paleontologists have previously conducted geological research and various expeditions 15 times in Mongolia independently or with other countries.

The expansion of geological cooperation between the two countries and effective expeditions will open up opportunities for the development of bilateral cooperation in mining and processing industry and more investments from Poland.
