Deputy PM meets Chinese Ambassador

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ On April 15, Deputy Prime Minister
S.Amarsaikhan received Ambassador of China to Mongolia Chai Wenrui.
The Chinese side has restricted the movement of vehicles in and out of Erlian city, China from Mongolia temporarily. Regarding the disruption in operations of the Zamiin-Uud border checkpoint and suspension in food and freight transportation caused by the situation, the sides talked over taking necessary measures to run operations of border checkpoints normally. The Chinese Ambassador expressed commitment to pay special attention to transportation matter in a short period.
Furthermore, the two sides agreed to make a supply of
vaccine against coronavirus shortly according to an agreement on the purchase
of COVID-19 vaccine from Sinopharm Company.
The sides also agreed to cooperate for deepening the Comprehensive
Strategic Partnership between Mongolia and China, activating cooperation amid
the pandemic as well as running economy and trade activities normal as much as
possible to curb and prevent the outbreak of the pandemic.
