Deputy PM meets Russian Ambassador

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ On April 16, Deputy Prime Minister
S.Amarsaikhan received Ambassador of the Russian Federation to Mongolia
I.K.Azizov.
The sides underlined that the construction project for a gas
pipeline to supply Russian gas to China through the territory of Mongolia has
been running intensively even in time of the pandemic. They also exchanged
views on supplying one million doses of Sputnik-V vaccine from the Russian side
in the near future.
Ambassador I.K.Azizov said he would inform Russian
corresponding officials about the Mongolian Government’s intensive measures to
protect its people’s health by attaching great significance to the vaccine
supply, and convey the request by the Mongolian side to receive the vaccine
within the agreement.
In addition, Ambassador I.K.Azizov was interested in a test
kit, which detects coronavirus in saliva, developed by Mongolian scholars, and its
supply to the market.
