Mongolia reports 1,264 new COVID-19 cases, eight deaths

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Mongolia has reported 1,264 new cases of COVID-19 after tests were conducted at 23 laboratories nationwide in the last 24 hours.
1,103 of the newly detected cases were registered in Ulaanbaatar city, 160 in rural areas while one hospital-acquired case was reported.
Total confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Mongolia now stands at 27,956. In the past 24 hours, 486 people have been discharged from hospital, bringing the number of recoveries to 14,258.
Furthermore, the National Center for Communicable Diseases reported eight coronavirus-related death, thus the total death toll has reached 69. Currently, 4,127 people are undergoing treatment, of whom 64 are in very critical health condition.
