Vaccination drive being accelerated at 160 points

convened on April 22 and decided to accelerate the country’s vaccination drive
through 120 permanent and 40 mobile vaccination sites in the capital city,
reports Ts.Ganzorig, Chairman of the Government Media and Public Relations
Office.
As of April 22, 31 percent of the adult population of
Mongolia has gotten the first dose of vaccine against COVID-19. Moreover, 3
percent or 65,000 people have been fully vaccinated.
According to the decision, from today the second dose of the
vaccine started being inoculated, besides elders over 55 being vaccinated with
the first dose. As the number of immunization points has increased thrice than
before, it has become possible to involve 60 thousand people in vaccination a
day, Mr. Ts.Ganzorig highlighted in his briefing.
281 teams or 1,890 healthcare workers are working at the
vaccination sites. Also, 40 buses are being mobilized for mobile vaccination
sites while another 40 buses have been prepared to observe the health condition
of the inoculated people.
