CU to donate USD 500,000 to support eco-friendly ger construction in Mongolia

Ulaanbaatar/MONTSAME/. BGF Retail announced on April 27 that it has signed an agreement with UNICEF Korea to support Mongolia's eco-friendly and high-efficiency ger construction project.


The signing ceremony was held at the office of UNICEF Korea in Seoul with the attendance of Lee Kun-joon, CEO of BGF Retail, and Lee Ki-chul, secretary-general of UNICEF Korea.


Chairman Gankhuyag Adilbish of Premium Group, BGF Retail's Mongolian partner, Alex Heikens, CEO of UNICEF Mongolia, and Mongolian government officials took part in the event through a video conferencing system.


Under the agreement, BGF Retail will donate USD 500,000 through UNICEF Korea over three years to support the construction of eco-friendly and high-efficiency gers for at least 500 families and 10 kindergartens.
