Agricultural Minister holds virtual meeting with Ambassador of Mongolia to ROK

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. On May 5, Minister of Food, Agriculture, and Light Industry Z.Mendsaikhan held a virtual meeting with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Mongolia to the Republic of Korea (ROK) N.Erdenetuya to discuss further development of partnership with the ROK Ministry of SMEs and Startups.

At the start of the meeting, Minister Z.Mendsaikhan congratulated Ambassador N.Erdenetuya on her appointment, and expressed gratitude for paying special attention to the Mongolia-South Korean agriculture and SME sector partnership, exchanging views on the works being implemented in the sector. 

They exchanged views on various matters, such as coming to an agreement on the export of agricultural products from Mongolia to South Korea, organizing an annual expo under the theme ‘Made in Mongolia’ in the country, conducting research and development of agricultural products, establishing a business development center through KOICA, and studying opportunities to export Mongolian meat and meat products to the South Korean market, and promoting agricultural products.
