MULS, University of Florida to implement 2+2 program

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Yesterday evening, at 8 PM (local time in Mongolia), May 6,  Minister of Education and Science L.Enkh-Amgalan and Dean for Research at the University of Florida Robert Gilbert signed a memorandum of cooperation.


The virtual event was attended by the U.S. Congresswoman Commack and former U.S. Congressman Ted Yoho and Ambassador of Mongolia to the United States Yo.Otgonbayar. The memorandum of cooperation has enabled the Mongolian University of Life Sciences and the University of Florida to jointly implement a 2+2 program. 


According to the US News & World Report, the University of Florida is the sixth top university in the USA and ranked 30th among all state and private universities.


Incidentally, in March 2021, the Mongolian University of Science and Technology and the George Mason University of the United States agreed to jointly run a 2+2 program. The sides have resolved to grant scholarship of USD 5000 to only Mongolian students. In addition, it is available for the students to enjoy tuition fee discount up to USD 12 thousand depending on learning achievement starting from the second session at the George Mason University.


Another partnership began with the University of Missouri - Kansas City, USA. Within this partnership, graduates of the general education school will enjoy tuition fee discount of USD 8,500 if they successfully pass a foreign language exam.
