Promoting Inclusive Education for Every Last Child in Mongolia II project to be implemented

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Minister of Education and Science L.Enkh-Amgalan had a meeting with Country Manager and Representative of Save the Children Japan in Mongolia L.Bayan-Altai to discuss cooperation.
Emphasizing the learning loss faced by children with disabilities amid the pandemic, the Save the Children representative said the organization is working to introduce one-to-one teaching and provide entrepreneurship-focused socio-emotional skills for vulnerable youth in rural areas.
The Education Minister made proposals to cooperate in implementing the comprehensive plan for making up for COVID-19 related learning loss, enrolling children from herder families in remote areas in kindergarten, and providing counseling for students.
Moreover, during the meeting, the sides signed an agreement to jointly implement the project ‘Promoting Inclusive Education for Every Last Child in Mongolia II' in Bayanzurkh, Chingeltei, and Songinokhairkhan districts of Ulaanbaatar city and Khovd, and Uvurkhangai aimags between 2021 and 2024.
