N.Tugstsogt to fight for WBC title again

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/.  Mongolian professional boxer N.Tugstsogt, known as ‘King Tug’, announced today on his social media page that his fight which was scheduled to take place on May 29 was cancelled. Then, he further announced that he would fight for WBC belt again in July.


Sources report that he would challenge WBC featherweight champion Gary Russell Jr. once more for the title. In their previous bout, which took place in February 2020, N.Tugstsogt was defeated with the final score of 115:113.


Gary Russell Jr. has a record of 1 loss in 31 fights of which he won 17 by knockout and he has successfully defended his title four times so far.
