22 students to be sent to Poland for study annually

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Mongolia to the Republic of Poland B.Dorj and Polish Minister of Education and Science Przemysław Czarnek renewed the Program for Cooperation in Higher Education between Mongolia and Poland in Warsaw, Poland, on June 10. 

 

Under the Program, 20 undergraduate and 2 PhD students will be sent from Mongolia to Poland for study every year over the next five years.

 

At a meeting that took place after the signing of the program agreement, the Polish side expressed its readiness to welcome the students from this fall. Ambassador B.Dorj said bilateral cooperation in education significantly contributes to Mongolia’s development and that Mongolia highly values the assistance from Poland.  

 

The sides also had discussions on promoting Mongolian studies in Poland, expanding direct partnerships between universities and colleges, and resuming cooperation between academies of sciences, particularly paleontological and other institutes and the Polish Minister undertook to support the efforts.
