Minister of Health receives representatives of South Korean K2BIO companySociety
Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. On July 22, Minister of Health S.Enkhbold received Director of South Korean K2BIO company Bae Man-sook and Deputy Director Lee Kyung-min. The K2BIO company representatives have arrived in Mongolia for the second time in the framework of cooperation in the healthcare sector.
During the meeting, they introduced their plans to establish a branch company in Mongolia to begin manufacturing COVID-19 test kits, of which results are delivered in an hour. Furthermore, they informed that a cooperation agreement has been signed with the National Center for Public Health of Mongolia.
The K2BIO company representatives then announced that they will work towards detecting Alpha and Delta variants by producing rapid test kits in Mongolia, and highlighted that the corresponding technology will be provided free of charge.
