Mongolian e-sports team donates its charity prize to UNICEF

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Mongolian e-sports team, ZEUS Esports, took fourth place in PUBG Mobile World Invitational East 2021, which wrapped up on July 26.

 

The competition rules enabled the team that won a prized place after competing with 16 teams in the finals to donate their charity prize of USD 155,000 or MNT 434 million to the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF). Moreover, the team received USD 50,000 in prize money.

 

The regional event’s winner, Thailand’s Valdus The Mulder, donated a charity prize of USD 442,500 to International Medical Corps, and the first and second runners up, Natus Vincere of Russia and D’Xavier of Vietnam donated their charity prizes as well.

 

In May, the PUBG Mobile Global Championships bronze medal winner, ZEUS, donated its USD 230 prize money from OPS BATTLE SHOW to a cancer patient.
