International quality management system standard introduced

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. Administrative units of the capital city have begun to implement the international quality management system ISO9001:2016 standard.
The Capital City Department
for Standardization and Environmental Safety
Monitoring and Regulation introduced
the ISO9001:2016 quality management system standard to their operations
in the first half of this year in the
framework of the capital city development objectives for 2021-2025.
A
certificate was presented to the head of the department for meeting the
requirements for the aforementioned standard within the frames of city standard
guidelines, development of methodological documents, monitoring and carrying
out studies on environmental safety, and organizing the
activities of the commission in charge of putting buildings and facilities into
operation.
By
introducing the quality management system standard, a policy quality and objectives have now been redefined, alongside strengthening
officers’ comprehension regarding the matter, and updating the organization's
quality management system and regulations.
Moreover, audit training was organized for a total of
28 officers, which enables
administrative units of the capital city to organize corresponding activities for introducing the standard in their operations.
