Duplications at all levels of public organizations to be eliminated

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. The
first meeting of the National Committee in charge of transitioning to
e-governance and building public service without red tape and corruption took
place on August 26.
The National Committee, established
by the resolution of the Government, is chaired by Prime Minister L. Oyun-Erdene.
Minister of Justice and Internal Affairs Kh. Nyambaatar works as a deputy
chairman, with a chairwoman of the CITA (Communications and Information
Technology Authority) B.Bolor-Erdene as a secretary.
At the beginning of the
meeting, the Prime Minister said, “As the head of the government, I have
established five committees, including the National Committee on transitioning
to e-governance and building public service without red tape and corruption. The
survey showed that the citizens find it difficult to get the public services. The
committee, therefore, should mainly focus on intensifying the transitioning to
e-governance, elimination of the problem of duplication and overlaps in all
levels of public organizations, as well as optimizing the organizational structure.”
The chairwoman of the CITA,
Secretary of the National Committee B. Bolor-Erdene said that the Committee would
pay great attention on transitioning fully to e-governance, making the public
service citizen-friendly, forming the qualified, professional and ethical civil
service, building open society without red tape and corruption.
The National Committee responsible for transitioning to e-governance and building public service without red tape and corruption has developed a plan in line with the Government Plan of Action as well as the ‘Vision-2050’ long-term policy document. Furthermore, it is planned to improve the laws and regulations essential for the full transition to e-government, and increase the number of services to be provided by the integrated digital system ‘E-Mongolia’ to make it more citizen-friendly and easy.
