Celebration of 50th anniversary of Mongolia-Japan relations discussed

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. The working group in charge of organizing celebratory events marking the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Mongolia and Japan convened on September 13.


The meeting was chaired by Minister of Foreign Affairs B.Battsetseg and attended by head of Mongolia-Japan parliamentary group Ts.Davaasuren and other corresponding representatives of other ministries, organizations friendship associations and the private sector. The members of the working exchanged views on the anniversary event plan.


In connection with the commemoration of the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Mongolia and Japan on February 24, 2022, a working group chaired by Foreign Minister B.Battsetseg has been set up to designate 2022 as the Mongolian-Japanese Youth Friendship and Exchange Year and organize celebratory event.


Within the framework of the anniversary, celebratory events and activities for strengthening Mongolian-Japan relationship, involving the public will be held. Moreover, on July 1, logo design competition was announced, and working group called on the public to actively participate in the competition.
