President U.Khurelsukh to take part in the 76th session of the UN General Assembly

Ulaanbaatar/MONTSAME/. On September 20-23, President of
Mongolia U.Khurelsukh will take part in the 76th session of the United Nations
General Assembly in New York City, USA.
President U.Khurelsukh will take part in the General Debate of the 76th session of the UN General Assembly and express Mongolia's position on pressing issues of international relations. He will also hold bilateral meetings with UN Secretary-General A. Guterres, UNDP Administrator A. Steiner and heads of state and government of some countries.
Formal meetings of the President to be held within the UNGA begin after he virtually meets with UNICEF Executive Director H.Fore today, September 17, to exchange views on cooperation.
In 2020, the 75th session of the UNGA was held in an online
format due to the COVID-19 pandemic. This year, presidents of 71 countries and prime
ministers of 34 countries will participate in person in the 76th session of the
UNGA.
