Wrestler B.Shoovdor wins her 3rd consecutive bronze medal from world championships

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. On October 7, IM B.Shoovdor grabbed the bronze medal from the women’s 59 kg class at the World Wrestling Championships. 

 

In the bronze medal match, Shoovdor went up against this year’s Pan-American Champion, U.S. wrestler Maya Nelson, and pulled off a close win with a score of 4:3. 


With this, she has grabbed her 3rd bronze medal from the last four World Wrestling Championships.


Her previous achievements include winning the bronze medal from the world championships held in Budapest, Hungary in 2018, and Nur Sultan, Kazakhstan in 2019, two silver medals and one bronze medal from the continental championship.
