National Forum of Judicial and Law Enforcement Officials held

During the forum, the challenges and issues facing the
independence of Judicial and Law Enforcement organizations as well as solutions and measures to be implemented for fair, independent
judicial and prosecutorial reforms to restore public confidence in the
courts were discussed.
Furthermore, panel discussions were held on topics ‘Judicial
independence and rule of law’, ‘Case registration, investigation,
sentencing and human rights and freedom’ and ‘Lawyer training system and
lawyer's discipline and responsibility’.
The forum was attended by more than 500 representations from courts, prosecutors, the Judicial General Council, the Authority
Against Corruption, the General Intelligence Agency,the Court Decision
Enforcement Department, the National Institute of Forensic Science, the National
Human Rights Commission, and the Mongolian Bar Association.
