COVID-19: 1,303 new cases, 18 deaths reported in the past 24 hours

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. The Ministry of Health reported
today, October 19 that 1,303 new cases of COVID-19 have been reported
in the past 24 hours. Specifically, 720 cases were confirmed in Ulaanbaatar city, with 583 cases in rural regions.
Today, the total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in Mongolia has reached 340,839. 6,710 patients have made recoveries in the past 24 hours.
Furthermore, 18 new COVID-19 related deaths have been reported, raising the country’s death toll to 1,501. Currently, 18,464 people are receiving hospital treatment for COVID-19 whilst 51,302 people with mild symptoms of COVID-19 are being isolated at home.
