10th contingent of Mongolian peacekeepers arrive home from South Sudan

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. On October 20, the first line of soldiers that served as part of the 10th contingent of the Mongolian Armed Forces in the UNMISS peacekeeping mission in South Sudan arrived in their home country.


Over 200 military personnel who successfully fulfilled their duties by serving in the peacekeeping mission in the past year was welcomed by Head of the Operations Management Department at the General Staff of the Mongolian Armed Forces, Brigadier General S.Dashzeveg, and Head of the Peacekeeping Operations Office, Colonel T.Buyanbat.


Headed by Colonel O.Zayat, the military personnel of the 11th contingent serving in the UNMISS peacekeeping mission departed in the evening of the same day.
