Meeting held on gas pipeline project

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. Within the framework of the working
visit of Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation A.L. Overchuk to
Mongolia, delegates led by Deputy Chairman of the Management Committee and
Member of the Board of Directors of Gazprom Company Vitaly Markelov have worked
in Mongolia.
Deputy Prime Minister and Head of a working
group in charge of gas pipeline construction project S.Amarsaikhan held a
meeting with Mr.Vitaly Markelov and the delegates, discussing the progress
of feasibility study for the gas pipeline project to be carried out in
Mongolia.
The sides stressed that regardless of the circumstances
related to COVID-19 pandemic, the works of the project have been progressing in
line with the plan of the joint working group, as extra attention is being
given by the governments of the two countries following the growing
importance of the gas pipeline project.
