Mongolian and Russian journalists to work together through ‘Baikal’ center

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. Mongolian and Russian journalists meeting was held yesterday at the Russian Center for Science and Culture in the framework of the 100th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Mongolia and RussiaRepresentatives of more than 20 organizations, journalists, journalism researchers and experts attended the meeting.


General Director of ‘The world of Buryatia’ television of the Republic of Buryatia of the Russian Federation A.V.Meshkova said Journalists and media organizations from two countries are working together in a range of areas. Mongolia and Republic of Buryatia border through a vast territory. Our TV channel has been producing television programs named ‘In the middle of nowhere’/Gazriin Dund/ and ‘Eastern alliance’ for many years and working as the closest bridge for cooperation between the two countries and border regions. Fellow journalists of Mongolia also participate in our activities.


As you know, “Baikal” Information Center was opened at the ‘Rossotrudnichestvo’ Representative Office in Mongolia and the Russian Center for Science and Culture in Ulaanbaatar. Through the center, Russian and Mongolian journalists are able to develop cooperation. Let us work together for further developing the political and social cooperation between the two countries, utilizing the boundless space of information,added A.V.Meshkova.
